That's a bad ass mask, and the hat makes the costume even better, haha.

Satellite Soda! Better than even the finest Moonjuice. At times.

it's my hiking hat. it's got some feathers on the other side.

It would probably scare the living lights out of people if you put that mask on when hiking, plus the hat

I must say - this one of the most stunning pieces of sculpture I've ever seen. What do you use? And - is any of your work for sale?

you were a sleeping lesson
for EVERY INSOMNIATIC EPISODE
i ever had. "abestosabestos," you whisper.
"i'm just a shadow of a person," i cry to you.

Thank you!!

It's several materials, actually. Fist i do the sculpture in WED clay, then I carefully cover it with hydrocal plaster, being sure to catch all the detail and minding any areas that might harbor air bubbles. Once the plaster has set, i take the whole thing off the board on which i was sculpting, very carefully remove the clay from the mold. When the mold is clean & completely dry, i fill it up with latex. After an hour or so, i pour the latex back and let the remaining skin dry over night. Thus a latex mask is born, though there are many small steps in between involving various sprays & chemical scrubs. A rather expensive process, truth be told.

As for selling, not at the moment. possibly in the future, though it'd be well over $100 mind you, being hand-molded/hand-painted & such :]
