It's several materials, actually. Fist i do the sculpture in WED clay, then I carefully cover it with hydrocal plaster, being sure to catch all the detail and minding any areas that might harbor air bubbles. Once the plaster has set, i take the whole thing off the board on which i was sculpting, very carefully remove the clay from the mold. When the mold is clean & completely dry, i fill it up with latex. After an hour or so, i pour the latex back and let the remaining skin dry over night. Thus a latex mask is born, though there are many small steps in between involving various sprays & chemical scrubs. A rather expensive process, truth be told.
As for selling, not at the moment. possibly in the future, though it'd be well over $100 mind you, being hand-molded/hand-painted & such :]

As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
